Thames Water asks creditors for another £2.4bn. Up to 30% of TW revenue covers financial costs. Debt spiral deepens problems, it borrowed to pay dividends. Hedge funds funding TW, hoping to asset-strip, hike bills, govt bailout. Let it go bust. Nationalise permanently.
