Apparently even this year the Atlantic had an article about how unreliable Pangram is and how often innocent authors are being flagged by it, but I guess that doesn't stop them from contributing to the problem by using it to impugn authors' work without any other evidence. Absolutely inexcusable.

It's notable that virtually all the writers accused of using AI for prize-winning books are Black. As in, "he/she couldn't possibly be smart enough to write this, so. . . ." In other words, racism.

It's not enough evidence this person is a writer. NONE of these incidents had sufficient evidence! NONE. But they keep working and now they're in a feeding frenzy. Trying to think of a good analogy. The Satanic Panic? Police put those innocent kids in prison for their eyeliner. Similar insanity.
