Had an appointment with my surgeon today. The incision is looking a bit better today, but the more surprising news was that she asked me to lift my foot and I... did. For context, I have not been able to lift my right foot since I was 7 years old... so this one is actually kind of a big deal.

in 2007, steve jobs promised an all-in-one device that would serve as a cell phone, an ipod, and an internet device. what he introduced next was the Mac Pack: a 135-pound backpack with a pull-over steel dome housing a computer monitor, a 14-foot aerial antenna, and a 900-foot retractable power cable

I'd be fine with 15 non-retaliation fights forever if I can just get this specifically to line up.

To everyone who asked me how I relax after a brutal day in the legislature, the answer is @summoningsalt.bsky.social's speedrunning videos. Painting while watching the latest "History of [Insert Game] World Records is my happy place.

Congrats Salt. I've been watching you grind this fight so intensely over the past four plus years. Seen so many fights get close, but just not get that last flip of the coin in your favor. I am so happy that you were able to do this. A Historian of the game with a Historic World Record. GG dude!
