Agree. They “love” the Obamas. 😏 But, also love and protect their friends and family that hate them and approve of the awful, racist posts, memes, and discussions targeting them. The “leave the kids out of it” rules certainly wasn’t extended to their family.

Why are you so defensive if he’s not talking about you? Fact is, we white folks are the ONLY DEMO who have voted majority GOP since the civil rights act (guess why). And you ignoring that is ignoring patriarchal white supremacy. We must acknowledge our mistakes so we stop repeating them.

I think the points you’re missing are that: 1) it’s not up to Black folks to “fix” white folks; and, 2) centering yourself in a conversation that’s greater than any 1 person is damaging to the overall discussion. The reflex shouldn’t be “not all”, if it didn’t apply. Your responses say otherwise.
