In our last written exchange, TC flattered me by saying that, while his perfect captive didn't exist in real life, I came the closest. Bless him! Pics of our play still pop up every now and again on bondage or leather Tumblrs and I always get a little warm glow of remembrance. Raise a glass to TC!

I had begun writing a small piece of fan fiction set in the escapology/cowboy/leather world he created but only got the first chapter to him (which TC liked very much) before he went "radio silent" and I didn't hear from him again.

Well before the COVID pandemic, TC told me he'd had bad news, medically speaking, and knew his days were numbered. I believe he had cancer. Sadly, his health seemed to deteriorate to the point where roping became impossible for him.

Latterly, TC wrote a multi-part story (which is still up there on DeviantArt) called "The Escapologist's Apprentice", combining his obsessions: escape artistry (but solely using rope and a little tape-gagging), leather, cowboy boots and intricate, elaborate, highly descriptive binding.
