No apologies needed ♥ The answer got kind of long, so I hope you don't mind the thread! I definitely struggle and fight my designs for a long while! I'm glad they feel cool and unique, but my goal is usually just to create something that makes my brain happy.

But if you feel overly influenced - diversify your inspirations! If something feels like 90% someone else's work with a little bit of new stuff thrown in, it's better to mix a bunch of other influences and ideas in too! Bring more of YOU to it, in what interests you and makes you happy.
