oh sorry to reply to this thread again after a day but I was finally reading through kal'alt's files and her file 2 is very VERY direct that RI will still be in ursus for the rest of act 3. so yeah while it was iffy with how it was written in the episode, I guess they realized and clarified here

yeah! I myself can't quite accept her physical disability on that level yet, since it's pretty vague and I can't actually tell if the core is being used as a mobility aid or that she's forced to take it everywhere with her depending on how that's worded. if so, it's a different sort of disability

nightmare is a good example of what happens when a writer is trying to consciously write something very stigmatized that affected by their biases vs writing something they don't realize they are touching on bc plurality is just derivative of normal human brain processes we subconsciously pick up on
