From Emily: Susan was an absolute trooper!Undaunted by severe weather and (technically “minor” but still painful) personal injuries - she (and the three women who joined her for a couple of days each) covered roughly 80 miles in 7 days. I am so grateful to her for carrying the torch during my break!

From Emily: I joined Susan and Melissa on the route on Wednesday afternoon, and together we crossed the southern Blue Mountains in something of a snow storm (I honestly loved it) before parting ways. Since then I’ve been joined by a new walker, Audra, and we’ve had good weather and stunning vistas.
