@sermenchero.bsky.socialOur work out today in @nature.com! We identified a previously unknown function for WEE1 in cell cycle control that could explain some of the inhibitor side-effects. We found WEE1 inhibits APC/C(Cdh1) to promote S-phase and cell cycle entry. Inhibit Wee1 , block or impair cell cycle entry.
Show PostLater today the Dosage Compensation and Evolution of the X Chromosome EMBO Workshop starts at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan. I am looking forward to several days of exciting science and conversations with great colleagues.
Show Post🎉 Our paper is out today in @science.org! How does the intestine maintain the right balance of cell types? We find that signalling rhythms matter! So proud of our three shared first authors, Sonja Weterings, @hiromuneeto.bsky.social & @jddeleede.bsky.social! 🔗 www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...
