Agree. What I noticed with the business students I teach is that, if the activity is part of a summative assessment, there will be more engagement. So it is good practice to create an LC that students see a benefit to engage (for example job application) #LTHEchat

#LTHEchat A5 Setting authentic assmts - including real research in the first year - students sharing their findings and running conferences and events for other students - so they feel like they own the university - it is there space and place... We can scaffold w bonding, belonging & self efficacy
