We moved to Longmont Colorado. 100 yards or so from my front door is an entry to the Calkins Nature Reserve. The path thru the reserve is where these were shot. The rear of my property looks East across the plains while the front faces the Front Range of the Rockies in the West.

Mamdani has the craziest (best ever) super sense about the supposedly "small & irrelevant" things that actually have a MAJOR impact on the quality of someone's life & daily joy. Pet ownership is absolutely one of those things, esp for the unhoused. This is so empathetic, yet economically smart too.
