It sucks because California was my bid for some kind of permanent safety. I figured I could maybe get settled and live the last 15-20 years of my life here. And it's been what, 3 years of disruption at this point and no actual secure housing and safety.

Ultimately I don't know what's going to happen to me and the dog and cats let alone the livestock. I just want to get home one more time before whatever is going to happen, happens.
