Yeah, the truth is that there were still a lot of people that now falls into the new autism diagnosis criteria that were struggling in the artificial world that neurotypicals built for themselves, and the truth is that they were always in our community, we just didn't know it yet.
Show PostI'm tired of this not being common sense. Diagnosing literally means the process of identifying something with signs and for most of history, autism was completely off the medical world and in the early days of autism research, autism had a very strict criteria which just wasn't how it was.
