Texting with daughter Lynn. Me: "I want to gtfo of dodge somewhere anywhere." Lynn: "What. Are you alright?" Me: "Hunh? I'm not melting down. I'm just bored out of my skull and want to go somewhere, ideally with someone." Nice to know she cares but I wish she wouldn't assume the worst right away.

Shiny 5% Hoothoot after 6,580 encounters! ✨ Caught it first ball! One of my main targets this year alongside Pineco. An incredibly rare shiny in Gen 3 as it's a 5% Safari target or eggs. Huge step forward for my Gen 3 living dex! (122/389 - Gen 3 Shiny Living Dex)

Shiny #2 for Safari Week was my 7th (😭) Nidoran♂ on FireRed after 14,119 encounters! I’m really hoping I get a Nidoran ♀ this year as I’ve only ever found a 5% one on FireRed and I’m currently doing a 75% repel trick for it on LeafGreen 🤞🏻
