Ooc is wild to me and just shows they only see these characters in a superficial way. They all have layers and depth and complexities and are never only one thing! I think that’s the thing that bothers me the most about those takes. Louis can ONLY be a victim or innocent. Lestat can only be hateful

Or an aggressor. That’s not what we were ever being told about these characters at any point. They should also have room for grace and for forgiveness and love, otherwise the story stagnates.
