It’s so politically freeing when you finally wake up and choose the side that’s against how the current system operates. We’ve got bigger issues than a culture war. I’m not liberal or conservative. I have morals. And those morals tell me that hatred is unacceptable. Period.

The thing about BlueSky is it’s an echo chamber for the other side, and that’s actually not helpful either. It’s not nearly as harmful as Elons toxic space though. I can deal with this.

40 people were killed in Venezuela because our president used our military to effectively carry out an illegal coup against a sovereigen nation’s government. We don’t just go around openly doing regime change in third world countries. We don’t just capture presidents. But here we are.

The calm, nice people left X alone a long time ago. I’m definitely not calm, and I’m not always nice, so of course it took me a while to break free. But I’m done with that place. Every single day my mental health improves. Negativity and hatred should be avoided at all cost.

Whatever other considerations are being thrown around about the situation, our hearts and solidarity should be with THE PEOPLE of Venezuela--our siblings--right now. They are who matter.
