Trans people get called extremists for saying “hey don’t watch a wizard tv show.” Meanwhile people out here literally calling for legislative bans on our existence are propped up as feminist icons. Really just shows how those who make people uncomfortable or disrupt consumption are vilified.

It's infuriating because .jpg and .jpeg are exactly the same format so some web developer didn't want to spend the extra 8 seconds to specify both file extensions as valid uploads.

It took me 15 minutes to get around this... so it's not insurmountable... but it's a website for seniors to apply for bus passes, so it should probably be fairly fault-tolerant (assuming that Metro actually wants people to use it)

LOL - when you submit your photos (not JPEG but only JPG) for a senior discount TAP card, Metro sends you an email titled "TAP Agreement - Please print for your records" Really!

$8/enrolled student is not negligible. I think there is value in teaching kids to TAP. My cousins in Taiwan tap fare cards issued by their schools or employers, or stored value ones they pay out of pocket. It instills that transit is valuable and worth paying for. I think roads should be priced.
