Very sad to hear about Brian Wilson. A true genius and creator of some of the most immortal pop songs of all time.

I saw Gomez, Embrace and Shed Seven as support acts in my brief period of going to small live music gigs in the late 90s. They all went on to be bigger than the headliners. I also saw The Magic Numbers in a tiny room as part of a comedy & music night. Not long afterwards they were in the charts.
