Here's the latest variant picture for the United Kingdom, to early March. The XEC.* variant remains dominant, but it has fallen to around 44% frequency. The LP.8.1.* variant grew somewhat to 21%, but then fell back in recent samples to finish at around 17%. #COVID19 #UK #XEC #LP_8_1 🧵

What’s the plan? Cutting benefits is not a way of enabling people with ‘chronic health’ to suddenly recover. Do they understand the meaning of chronic? A better idea are finding treatments and preventing more from becoming unwell surely!

The party for ‘working people’ has cut thousands of jobs. Is planning to replace workers with AI. Nearly every interview mentions ‘working people’ what about the millions unable to work due to chronic health problems & long covid? Does Labour stand for them?
