Keep making art. Keep writing your stories. Even if they must exist in secret for a time, they are important - each of them a little act of rebellion. Most of all, keep on living. If you can muster no other motivation on some days, then do it out of righteous spite for those who want you gone.

Thank you so much for saying this, because not a lot of people understand that you can believe in the freedom of fiction, taboo or otherwise, and still be uncomfortable with or dislike certain kinds of fiction. The key is to not be an asshole about it and moderate your own space.
