Fascinating, and probably very frustrating to simple clinical protocols. It seem like your work would be useful in predicting outcomes, if a common set of signatures correlated to response can be identifed.

I'm not familiar with clinical management of FMT. Is there any thought to 'debulk' the recipient biome with broad-spectrum antibiotics to create more opportunity for engraftment?
