No, Google took their name from the misspelled name of a number called googol (10 to the 100th power) which in turn was named by mathematician Edward Kasner’s 9 year old nephew in 1920. The kid (& Chandler for all I know) might have got the idea from Barney Google which was a comic strip (1919).
