I feel like when people talk about the superiority of man made art over AI slop they tend to focus too much on the mystic of it and not enough on the fact that for a lot of artists the process is made up of a long series of complex and meaningful deecisions that a robot sucks at making.

I swear whenever someone looks at any piece of media and says "oh that's a neat detail" it's due to an artist doing a deep dive into a subject on their off hours, acquiring enough knowledge to moonlight as a historian
