I got too busy to have hobbies. Non-work things: LEGO, romancelandia, knitting, Formula 1. Celiac with a keen interest in making desserts and a passable home cook. (she/her)

I went to make myself some eggs and I see "Dave" is still at it in my replies. Usually I'd block him but everyone seems to be having fun and whether he's real, a bot, or a man composing replies with AI, some days you just wanna shred a mansplainy wall of text. Enjoy, my loves. 😂
Show PostGosh, Bree, how can you ever spot these? ;)
Show PostWell if someone is sneaking competent pitches past me then this doesn't apply to them? The thread is literally about how we get endless emails of slavish creepy zombie praise for bookclubs that are almost always clearly fake describing our books in ways that make no sense.
Show PostThe reason I'm begging humans not to use AI is not because we are rejecting these pitches because we think they are AI. Whether they are AI is a secondary problem to whether or not we want to do business with someone who sounds this incompetent. We don't! AI makes you sound incompetent!
Show PostIf you read the thread you would see that I literally said it wouldn't matter if I knew the person was human. The emails being composed are gross and weird and I would not want to do business with anyone who sent me something that sounded like cult recruitment.
