Three pounds of shredded chicken, four cans of different colored beans, a can of corn, a can of crushed tomatoes, chicken stock, sauted onions, peppers & garlic, and a crapload of spices are currently working "low & slow" in my crockpot. Hope it's good! I promised my neighbors some if it's good.

I would argue that the salary floor is more important than the salary cap. I understand that you can’t have one without the other, but to your point, a high payroll does not equate to winning it all.

Definitely. The salary cap should roll right off the table. However, a salary floor would be fine with me. MAKE those cheap-ass teams spend some money!
