I accidentally lost my long-term Skyrim companion, Uthgerd the Unbroken, in Solstheim while doing The Temple of Miraak. She died, and I saved the game by mistake. The grief was profound. Embarrassingly so. I have experienced less devastation at several actual family funerals.

It brings me great pleasure on long motorway drives to respond to the warnings of 'police ahead' on Waze/Google Maps by saying they're no longer there, when in actual fact they're still there dishing out speeding tickets. If you speed, you deserve it.

Consistently masking at conventions is unpleasant, uncomfortable, and sometimes chafes my ears. But as I have not added severe illness to this year's carousel of exhaustion, I am glad to continue doing it, and continue to recommend it to my peers.
