It is also deeply ironic given that Jo Grady originally elected as the candidate who would support democratic reform within the union and off the back of a Congress & a dispute which had seen deep tensions between leadership and delegates and membership.
Show PostA very bleak survey being sent round about @ucu.org.uk Congress. Very clear from the suggestions in the survey that the current NEC wants to water down democratic processes and limit the power of Congress. This is intensely political b/c delegates have tended not to support current leadership.

Today Rockstar bosses are taking the stand in the employment tribunal to answer allegations of union-busting. Outside, fired GTA worker Bran shared a message for the people who, last October, fired her and 30 of her colleagues without warning, due process or right of appeal.
