Yeah I looked at duckdb too. This was just an hour or so of work to get polars processing just so I could see CU usage and performance.

Right keep me honest here…small to medium sized data processing workloads (few MB to a few GBs) work very well using Python notebooks with Polars and Delta-rs? I’m writing loads of 1GB files to a lakehouse and it’s very quick…far quicker than Spark
