I'll be gone a while. Maybe permanently. My beloved dog Gabriel died suddenly this afternoon. I am completely devastated. He was only 8.5 years old and in perfect condition. He is.. He was my only true friend, and the only thing keeping me going with my failing health. I cannot breathe without him.

Hey folks Unfortunately I received the news that my childhood dog was in the emergency vet this morning. Mello came in with heart failure and blood in his lungs.....he kept collapsing on the way there, so my family and I agreed, it's for the best to put him down I'm feeling a lot right now

Gus went peacefully with me holding his paw. As one last cosmic joke, it took a double dose of the initial med to make him sleepy - one of the things he excelled at. Came home and cleaned my house, throwing away some of Gus's stuff (blanket, bed, shirt, harness, and leash). Too raggedy to donate.
