Yes, I missed the first 3 minutes. I thought leaving 1hr 45mins to get to the stadium would be plenty of time. As I escaped, I bumped into 3 Palace fans who'd got tkts in the away end & escaped all the bus nonsense.

Thursday (3): Old Town Lyon with Marseille based nephew. Warm. Funicular train ride to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière. Quiet beer at the Wallace Snug. Travel to and from the ground not great but could have been worse. Met some nice people. Match disappointing. France isn’t our lucky place.
