I ran it two years ago. My one shoe exploded 35km in when I tripped and went down with a devastating cramp in my calf 😆 I almost dropped about halfway when it started snowing and I was in shorts and a t shirt.

It's a 50km trail race with two river crossings!! It's an end to end along the Maitland trail that is pretty Halloween themed; 'the bad thing' and the swag always has skulls on it. The weather looks clear and around 15°C/58°F. I'm excited. There are 8 of us racing amd staying in an Airbnb.
