First day of Siggraph went really well and was really chill. I'm sure it will get super busy starting tomorrow. There surprisingly wasn't a lot of AI stuff today and lots of presentations talking about Actually Cool Graphics and Rendering tech.

I kinda feel like the writing is on the wall now. We're seeing a spike in insider trading as everyone gets out before a crash, countries are instituting rules that make it functionally impossible to be profitable because AI bros were banking on literally zero externalities, etc.
