Depends what it is - there's a lot more electronics to service in a Technics 1210 than there is in a Rega RP3, but I'd expect a couple of hours minimum. For comparison, I just paid £110 + VAT per hour to have a plastic cover replaced underneath my car.

Caught an interview with Andy Bell during the week. He basically said it’s because Vince lost his wife & just can’t face it. Vince has written and recorded music & footage etc. they’ve not fallen out, he just can’t face touring
