bc the united states doesn't do government art grants on a scale that allows anyone to make video games and so the entire US games industry is dependent on the preexisting large-scale financial apparataus of hollywood and tech. Also they don't do big enough tax incentives to get big money to uproot.

How is this a hot take? It's just true. People made amazing games on consoles like SNES, Game Boy, etc, with severe limitations compared to today's tech. They didn't need LLM-"assisted" bullshit. We shouldn't need it either.
