My father worked in oil. He’s been taken hostage twice. Once in Kuwait (so was I, but I was sent home, he was kept for months). Once in Venezuela. It’s no coincidence that those places sound familiar now. I’m so tired of it all being about oil, money and power. Over and over, round and round.
