The key word is presumed. Historically, AC has often been favored in older recipients based on concerns about luteal insufficiency. Our study challenges this assumption with real-world data, showing no evidence that the relative benefit of NC diminishes with increasing recipient age. #ESHREJC

I second everything. The data are relevant and should be considered when choosing/counseling. But let's not demonize artificial cycles which are frequently a safe and effective option for many women (and sometimes the only alternative to drop out) #ESHREjc

In our study in subgroup analyses, benefits of CL vs. AC in terms of reduced miscarriage rates were not seen in women aged > 39yo. French study where PGT-A is not allowed. A hypothesis could be that the impact of aneuploidy on miscarriage might surpass the impact of endometrial preparation. #ESHREjc
