A6. One that is less performative and reduces emphasis on optics. More collegial self assessment and working in partnership with other HEIs to evaluate SWOTs. Ringfencing student outcomes to what unis can control not regional economics.

We used to have students who flexibly juggled work, caring, studies - deliberately failing some modules to better pace themselves & get the right grade at the resit - so the HEI caps the resit grades. The more flexible the less privileged HEI & students are - the more the rules are changed #LTHEchat

We need to do all we can to help students be able to articulate how they apply their learning and the skills they develop to prepare for applying for jobs and it seems now whatever random means OfS might have to contact them to gather this info. #LTHEchat

A5 We're all going to have to work smarter, not harder. Academics are already overworked. There need to be clear goalposts negotiated as a sector, and continued support for staff as well as student wellbeing #LTHEChat
