Republican politicians are *obsessed* with schoolchildren coming home a different gender because of pro-trans teachers, WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. But they are completely indifferent to schoolchildren not coming home *at all* because of guns, WHICH HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!

The villain of our national story is less Trump and more the GOP, who have aided and abetted him for a decade. When I left MAGA, I also walked away from the Republican Party. When it comes to Trump, there is no red line for the GOP.

New @washingtonpost.com reporting shows a majority of the money Trump has "raised" for his ballroom has come from companies or wealthy people with interests before the federal govt.   Make no mistake this is a two-way street: every single one of these donors wants something in return.

I saw Digger today. It's great. 🪏 Visually stunning, stellar performances, hilarious, thought-provoking, brilliant sound & music. Climate crisis satire on a giant scale. Evokes Fellini, Terry Gilliam, Cinema Novo. Absurd to dismiss this film because it "flopped," or because it's "pretentious."
