On the other hand, having too much physical media is a royal pain in the ass, and costly too in terms of storage space. I'm horrified by the amount and value of the books I'm slowly ditching in neighborhood little "leave a book, take a book" libraries.

I see there's yet another round of spittle-flying debate on physical and digital software. All I've got to say is that I like having a shelf full of games. I'm no collector but it's fun to have something visitors can see and perhaps chat over. And hey, try selling Earthbound digitally.
