anyway, a whole lot of other stuff would obviously need to change for THAT idea of a flying car to make any sense. if power lines and trees exist, flying cars like that Fifth Element car… are just silly. but emergency vehicles that don’t NEED but can USE roads would clearly be useful in many areas

fair point. i had a feeling i was not using the right language when i types that. what i meant was this idea of bumper to bumper style highway traffic we see in sci fi (left side of this gif) seems highly implausible without like antigravity or some shit (are any planes street legal? haha)
