maybe I’m too woke but I think the death penalty is barbaric and immoral regardless of who’s being executed. torturing this woman to death with botched execution after botched execution isn’t gonna do anything but create more needless suffering.

Once again, we should not have a death penalty. But so long as we do, firing squad is the actually humane way to do it. But we don't do that because it allows society to understand that the death penalty is fucking barbaric and that killing people is not an appropriate use of government power.
