This is cruel and unusual punishment, which is illegal. To turn someone's punishment into a public spectacle is an attack on human dignity not just of the person being executed but their family, friends and military colleagues as well. But he is brown and Trump/Hegseth hate brown people...

One also has to ask whether or not this would have happened if he were white? I seriously doubt that a white person would face a firing squad of their peers in a televised execution. If I were in the military, I would refuse to be on the firing squad on the basis of international law.
