It was a great deal back then. Late 80's. It was built by a retired ATT executive who moved to the region from Japan. All wood throughout, not one piece of sheetrock. It even had wooden sinks and bathtubs/showers. Each room had a deck off of it. 5 fireplaces. Two great years there.

The house I rented on Stavis Bay was unbelievable. Nicest place I've ever lived. Great view of the water and Olympics. 200ft of "beach" and next to an oyster farm. It was built into a steep hillside on wooden pier style posts. Felt like being suspended in the air. 500 a month split two ways.
