Working on slowly but steadily killing the grass in my yard ('lawn' would be an extremely generous and overambitious term) and MAN we are at a real trust the process moment aka a dirt pit waiting for the rain to start so I can seed clover.

Every time someone’s bitching about why we can’t protest like they do in France, I want to stick a bullhorn in their face and yell “FERGUSON.” White liberals in particular have memory-holed what happened in Ferguson and how many Black organizers died under suspicious circumstances afterward.
