very valuable idea I've internalized that helps me exist peacefully in online spaces, which might help some who are a similar kind of autistic as me: when someone posts something upsetting or flat out wrong or harmful to you, it usually isn't malice, they just thought it through differently

I say this because we autists overanalyze a lot of things others do not, or think about differently, and we tend to assume others are doing the same, in the same way As a result, we can be highly judgemental, assuming the reason must be MALICE It usually isn't, this is a form of miscommunication

Many people assume we're all standing at the same crossroads and some are just choosing the Wrong direction out of ill will, while in reality it's a lot of people on different trails hiking to a lot of different places in a lot of different conditions

that doesn't mean there aren't malicious people out there obviously, but I say this because my own thought patterns have in the past gotten me really upset at Literally Nothing, and this kind of thing helped me escape those cycles and shift energy more productively and socially
