The trees aren't fully yellow yet this year, but I went to every old checkpoint to collect my brand and had my fill of festival food (yakitori, dango) along the way. The perfect festival: a long walk towards the mountains in the sun.

Show PostI bought my Sony DSC-P8 camera almost exactly 20 years ago at the Yodobashi Camera store in Hachioji, Japan. In April, I returned to Hachioji and brought the camera with me. Here is a pic (taken in 2023) of the camera in front of the same store where I bought it in 2003
