This is Milly, my mom's cat. Separated from her mother far too young, she developed several major health concerns. Doctors didn't think she'd make it to one year old. She recently developed cancer that spread rapidly. We said goodbye to her today. She was ten. She beat the odds.

my oldest dog passed in her sleep last night. a stray, pregnant mutt that adopted us after someone abandoned her near our property. she was around 19 years old, and i knew it was coming any time, she surprised me by making it through last winter. she was a very good girl, to the very end. 💔
