This guy was giving my front window a hard, not particularly friendly look earlier this evening. I don't know if he saw me or a rival for his gf, but I had visions of him crashing through the window, and laying waste to the living room before tumbling down the stairs and destroying the basement. 😱😁

What makes this even more aggravating is that even before th3 moral panic, random strangers felt entitled to know why you cut off a parent, with the insinuation that could judge whether your reasons were "good enough," or to offer unsolicited help in "reconciling." I imagine this will get worse.

Quite apart from anything else, “I can’t help you deal with your feelings about this choice or make the choice for you” is not “curt”! It’s a perfectly reasonable reply to someone who has been given two options and refuses to pick one of them!
