A good day out further north today with Caspian Tern at Nosterfield, Pectoral Sandpiper at Druridge, and at least 6 Spotted Flycatchers at beautiful Ingoe (though the famous Turtle Dove didn't show itself). Some very blurry, very distant big crop photos for your enjoyment... #ukbirding #birds

A Peregrine and very young Redstart (part of a group of 4!) were my consolation for missing Wall Brown in their favoured location within my 10km circle today. Redstart don't breed locally, so this has travelled to be here, but it can't have come that far looking so young! #ukbirding #birds
