Love that! It's one of the great weaknesses of D&D, is that sometimes it's mechanically impossible to kill a foe who's at your mercy, even using the automatic crit rule.

Lou puts people in the rot to give them immortality. They die horribly and then become one with him, which, they can form their own bodies. But usually prefer to remain in the rotting flesh that is 'the house'. Lou is a fae prince, and an aspect of rot. He is an important part in the life cycle.

Lou would be a ridiculously op patron or something. He's essentially a mindhive- so multiple people in a network of rotshrooms. They can unite as a hivemind, or be their own being with individuality- though they're connected telepathically and empathically.
